We had been dating for 5 years, and she decided to go out with the recommendations of a friend, despite our relationship. It was devastating to me, because there was no indication that she was unhappy, yet this took place in about a week, which was two years ago. I wanted to hate her so bad, and I think that there are times when I still do, but truthfully we still speak to each other as friends which is the strangest thing that I have done, ever. |

| Though I have not been everywhere in this world, there are places that I have been that have impacted me exceptionally! French Canada was one such place that was really unlike the rest of Canada, especially when you get to the heart of it. Once you arrive at it's center, you find more of a European influence, which really stands to reason. It is more colossal in scale, because it is nearly 350 years young!! Unlike the USA, it gets most of it's news from the country of France. Why not? Everyone there, primarily speaks French, but unlike France its residents are not snooty, nor arrogant!! They are hard working people trying to get their own, and deal with tremendous amounts of snow in the process!! I could tell you that my perceptions of acceptable snowfall really were stretched to their limits, when I went through a mild winter there in 1999. They got 9 feet of snow that year, and that was a meter less than the last year!! |

| Mom is in the hospital because she would not go last night when she was feeling crappy for the last few days. You have to have a lot of patience to deal with the stubbornness of redheads.
